Details
- All requirements from customer perspective are identified
- The product environment is considered from beginning
- Plastics, metals or soft furnishing materials are considered and can be chosen from samples
- Production technologies are evaluated
- A product specification is defined and is coordinated with customers to clearly have a joint understanding
- Finally, a technical and commercial evaluation is part of the product specification
Design
- Based on EASA Part 21J Design approval we can develop and design customized and alternate parts according to EASA aviation requirements
- Reverse engineering is a helpful tool to generate data for customized and improved parts
- Prototyping allows a pre-production release based on a hardware part within short lead-time, especially for a fit-check we can offer units based on 3D print or prototype production
- Design phase is closed with official SADD for production under EASA Part 21G approval.
Details
- For parts design we consider material and tooling specific requirements
- Parts environment is considered to allow best fit and use for the initial application
- For out-of-production parts we can design an improved version to allow spares availability
- EPA parts can done incl. certification process within EASYchange product line.
Production
- We offer production under EASA Part 21G approval
- Latest production technologies allow parts production for soft furnishing, plastics and also metal parts.
- Specific technologies as additive manufacturing or combination of classic production technologies offer the most efficient way of manufacturing.
- For soft furnishing we have small QTY production as well as high production QTY
- All parts are produced in Europe.

Certification
- To install parts to the aircraft we offer also the full certification solution for a customization project
- Deliverables are Engineering Order/Service Bulletin, Minor or Major Change Approval, IPC supplement and also all test reports.
- The Certifcation data set allows an operator to incorporate a customized part to the fleet according to all EASA regulations.
- All certification is done by EASA approved Design Organization in Germany
- We take care of all testing and material qualification for a customization project.

Spares & Kitting
- Due to interiorsDIRECT distribution division we can stock all customized parts with entry into service after development & certification done
- We guarantee a global off-the-shelf supply of spare parts or further applications of the customized parts
- A planning and stock level is planned in agreement with the customer so that the full after-market and spares supply is set up with end of a customization project.
- Our alternate parts are self-driven developments and are on stock with end of certification phase.
